Outstanding Multimode Indoor Armored Fiber Optic Cables

Armored fiber optic cable with build-in metal armor can provide stronger protection of the optical fibers than standards fiber optic cables. The rugged armored cables allow optical fiber to be installed in the most hazardous areas, including environments with slight dust, oil, gas, moisture, or even damage-causing rodents.
Please note: E2000 is an LSH connector with a dust-proof cover.

20/10D Min. Bend Radius

The BIF allows tighter cable bends for slack storage and routing.

Zirconia Ceramic Ferrule

The precision ferrules reach up to 1000 times times insertions lifespan.

120-225N Tensile Strength

The pull-resistant cable prevents breaking and prolongs the life.

Three Jacket Materials Used in Diverse Cabling Zone

It's important to know the differences between OFNP, PVC, LSZH jackets because each different type is used in different locations.

Meet the Various Indoor Installation Needs

Exceptional durability of armored fiber cables is suitable for network cabinet connection, ceiling channel wiring and under-floor wiring in data center.

This product is truly impressive! I must commend its outstanding performance and reliability. The armored design is a highlight of this patch cable. It provides an additional layer of protection, safeguarding the fiber optic cable from bending, pulling, or other external interferences. This robust structure gives me great confidence in the durability and longevity of the patch cable!

Good armored cable is in a league all its own in terms of how durable it is, but only so long as the connectors on either side aren't fragile. Once it's put to a panel you don't have to worry about it again sure, but I've had many a situation both personally and having other people accidentally break LCs off an armored cable while routing it for a variety of reasons. Sometimes you can salvage it if the glass and ferrule aren't broken, but you're not always that lucky. It's easily the weakest link in any fibre cable no matter where it's from, armored or not.

FS, however, sells their armored cable with your choice of connector including SC and ST, which are both far more durable than flimsy LCs while still being easy to handle unlike FCs. This means you can have your important and expensive runs of fibre use the more robust terminations that you can give anyone in the shop to run and when it comes time to patch a switch you can just use a short, inexpensive bit of patch cable to go from your SC/ST into your LC SFP modules. That's a hard sell from other vendors, they rarely sell anything other than LC if terminated at all!

On top of that, they sell this at a very fair price regardless of what you terminate it with or what kind of jacket you want/need. Stop looking: you've found the good stuff :)
