The FS for Mellanox MMS1C10-CM Compatible QSFP28 Optical Transceiver Module is designed for use in 100GBASE Ethernet throughput up to 500m over single mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1310nm via a MTP/MPO-12 connector. This transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-PSM4 standard. Digital diagnostics functions are also available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA, to allow access to real-time operating parameters. With these features, this easy to install, hot swappable transceiver is suitable to be used in various applications, such as data centers, high-performance computing networks,enterprise core and distribution layer applications.

Require multiple optical modules and optical cables to conduct the 25G-100G upgrading for our project. We bought some 100GBASE-PSM4 QSFP28 optical transceivers and several MTP breakout cables. I need to upgrade a computer room to 100G. The transmission distance is about 300m. I have some Arista switches. I have already used MTP cabling, and these 100G transceivers have MTP/MPO connectors. I don't need to have my network rewired. So this solution is truly ideal for me. These days, both Arista devices have no issue with these 100G modules and communicate smoothly via them. It's hard to find an economical product that simply works when you plug it in, but this one does exactly that. As expected, the product quality of large companies is well guaranteed.
