MTP® Female to LC UPC Duplex OS2 Single Mode Breakout Cable

MTP® Breakout cable, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles. With US Conec MTP® connectors and Corning SMF-28 ultra optical fiber, it is optimized for 40G QSFP+ PLR4 to 10G SFP+ LR, 400G OSFP/QSFP-DD DR4 to 100G QSFP DR and 400G OSFP/QSFP-DD XDR4 to 100G QSFP FR optics direct connection and high-density data center applications.

Please note: The US Conec MTP® connectors are fully compliant with the MPO standards, achieving higher performance levels when compared to generic MPO connectors.

The setup we need short MTP® breakout cables for has very high density and low latency requirements. We are therefore looking at making custom cables that fits more exactly what we need to connect devices in close proximity to each other. On website it says the minimum length is 0.5m. The PC connector has been replaced by the UPC connector. UPC is an improvement of the PC fiber connector with a better surface finish after an extended polishing and the optical return loss is higher than PC structure. Hi, for multimode, the minimum bend radius of the cable is 7.5mm; for singlemode, it's 10mm. Meanwhile the boot is designed to bend and maintain direction from straight to 90°.
