Product overview
S5800 series routing switches are high-performance 1G/10G switches designed to meet the requirements of the next-generation enterprise, data center, Metro and HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) networks. Based on FSOS, the S5800 series delivers performance and robust feature support, such as Priority Flow Control (PFC), Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) and data center TCP, etc. It also supports the MLAG function which improves the reliability of the network links from single board grade to device grade.
S5800-48T4S is a high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 48x 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 access ports and 4x 10Gb uplink ports in a compact 1U form factor, the powerful switch delivers non-blocking forwarding of 176Gbps combined with feature-rich L2 and L3 switching. Built from the ground up with the combination of advanced hardware and software, the switch provides a powerful Layer 3 routing solution for next-generation enterprise, data center, Metro and HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) networks.
S5800-48F4SR is a high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 48x 1000M SFP and 4x 10Gb SFP+ ports in a compact 1U form factor. The FSOS delivers robust feature support, such as the leading edge data center features: Priority Flow Control (PFC), Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) and data center TCP, etc. It also supports the MLAG function which improves the reliability of the network links from single board grade to device grade.
The S5800-48MBQ 48-Port Multi-Gigabit Ethernet layer 3 switch features 48x 100M/1000M/2.5GBASE-T, 4x 10G/25G SFP28 and 2x 40G QSFP+ ports. This managed enterprise switch delivers 600 Gbps switching capacity and 445.76 Mpps forwarding rate for superior processing performance and network reliability. Supporting advanced features, including MLAG, IPv4/IPv6, SNMP, etc., FS agile S5800-48MBQ managed switch is ideal for next-generation enterprise, Wi-Fi 6 Access, Metro and HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure) networks.
S5800-8TF12S is a high-performance Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 8x 100M/1000M SFP, 8x 10/100/1000BASE-T combo and 12x 1Gb SFP/10Gb SFP+ in a compact 1U form factor. It comes with complete system software, comprehensive protocols and applications to facilitate the rapid service deployment and management for traditional L2/L3/IPv6 networks. Supporting advanced features, including MLAG, SFLOW, SNMP, etc., this switch meets the next-generation Metro and enterprise network requirements, and it is also ideal for traditional or fully virtualized data centers.
S5800-48T4S-DC is a Layer 3 Ethernet switch with 48x 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports and 4x 10Gb ports. Licensing
Metro Advanced License includes the functions of MPLS, LDP, MPLS-L2VPN, MPLS-L3VPN, VxLAN-BGP-EVPN, IPFIX. The license is specific to the switch for which it is issued and is not valid on any other switch, so the license is not portable across devices.
Metro Advanced License is offered as a perpetual license, it is applicable to multiple devices, including S5800-48T4S, S5800-48F4SR, S5800-48MBQ, S5800-8TF12S, S5800-48T4S-DC, S5800-48F4SR-DC, S5800-24T8S.
