N5860-48SC can do the job? We can use the 8 x 100Gb slots to split to 25Gb and connect Dell servers and Powerstore SAN. Can you recommend the correct compatible 100G QSFP28 to 4x25G SFP28 AOC cable to me?The servers use Broadcom NIC : Broadcom 57504 Quad Port 10/25GbE,SFP28, OCP NIC 3.0. Broadcom 57412 Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ Adapter, PCIe Full Height. N5860-48SC--100G QSFP28 to 4x25G SFP28 AOC--Broadcom 57504 Quad Port 10/25GbE,SFP28, OCP NIC 3.0, recommendation #70537. N5860-48SC--40G QSFP+ to 4x10G SFP+ AOC--Broadcom 57412 Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ Adapter, PCIe Full Height, recommendation #30793. SAN DELL Powerstore devices come with 10/25 GbE/iSCSI and you can use DELL compatible 40G/100G breakout cables depending on the port rate.

    We have a number of virtual hosts in a cluster. The hosts need to support the live migration of virtual machines as well as storage replication. We are currently trying to do this using bonded 1G links, but technology has moved on and I’d like to roll out 10G networking initially.

    I intend having a series of management networks for IPMI, Hypervisor management, PDU management, etc. I intend using the S5800-48T4S for this. It will then advertise these networks to a pair of software-based router/firewalls which will allow us to police traffic in/out of this secure environment.

    The production switches (2xN5860-48SC) will connect to the main operating networks, DMZ, storage network, etc. These switches will use stacking technology across 2x100G links. I have selected the QSFP28 transceivers and MTP cables for this.
