MTP® jumpers are high-density pre-terminated optical cabling that simplify installation and improve performance, designed to be a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination. MTP® jumpers, allow for the seamless migration to higher data rates in the data centre when used in conjunction with our trunk cables. They are used to connect MTP® adapter panels, fibre cassettes, and electronics, typically within a cabinet and row.

Features
Custom Fiber Count
Fiber cable is available in various fibre counts with selection depending on the application and the number of connections.
Using the outer 4 fibres (1-4 and 8-12) of the MTP®-12 connector with 4 fibres used to transmit and 4 fibres used to receive for QSFP application.
Used for trunk and backbone applications. It is also ideal for 8-fibre parallel applications.
The cable with braided tubing combines MTP®-8/12 cable assemblies for high-density backbone applications.
Custom Cable Jacket
A cable jacket is a shield that protects and ensures the longevity and reliability of the cable within. The differences in cable jacket types determine their suitability for different scenarios.
Custom Connector
MTP® connectors utilise two alignment pins on one connector and two holes on the opposite connector. Female connectors can be identified by the two cable pins on the end of the connector.
The female (without pins) connector can be directly connected to transceivers or other male connectors.
The male (with pins) connector is combined with the female connector for additional distance by using adapters.
Custom Polarity
Polarity refers to the directional relationship or corresponding between the transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) ends of a fiber connection, ensuring the transmitting and receiving ends are properly interconnected during use. Click the Technical White Paper for more information.
Custom Pulling Eye
The pulling eye protects fibre trunk connectors during cable installation and removal, particularly in tight spaces or hard-to-reach spaces, by fully covering the breakout length and transferring pulling force from the assembly to the sleeve.
Without pulling eye is suited for short cables in common fibre cabling.
With pulling eye could enhance the efficiency and reliability in long distance installations.
