The Generic Compatible 200G QSFP56 to 2x100G QSFP56 Direct Attach Cable operates over passive copper, which requires no additional power to ensure quality connectivity. This breakout cable is compliant with IEEE 802.3cd, SFF-8665, QSFP56 MSA standards. It provides a connection of a 200G QSFP56port on one end and to two 100G QSFP56 ports on the other end and is suitable for cost-effective close-range interconnections within the equipment room of telecom operators or data centers, etc.


Note: The FS P/N is changed from Q56-2Q56PC005 to QSFP-200G-2QPC005, but the product is the same. Only the FS P/N has been changed.

The packaging is good and the dacs are really good quality so I am extremely happy with the purchase. I already installed everything and 200gbe is just fabulous. My equipment vendor, Ubiquity currently only seems to supply 0.5m DAC cables which aren't long enough for anything other than directly adjacent switches. You were able to supply custom length DAC cables and as far as I can see they work flawlessly and as if they were made by the original vendor. Thank you for the product range, I will keep FS in mind when I need to look to solve issues.
