    I support a customer that needed to replace their current core ASAP. They couldn't wait months, I suggested FS. They purchased two N5860-48SCs (one as a backup). On 3/9/2023 we replaced the core with this switch. It delivered! The performance has been exceptional so far. The customer has a 1 gig Internet connection and prior would be lucky to get 250 Meg up/down. After the migration they were seeing close to 1 gig up/down. File folders that took over a minute to just open went to instantly opening. Testing from the VDIs on the network stayed consistent, no spikes in slow downs. The FS team has been very helpful in preparing for this. My account rep Belle setup some time for me to do a screen share to work with the CLI prior to the migration to ensure that I got some familiarization with the CLI.

    We are a small city that purchased 4 of these unit for a intersite project using all FS equipement. I must say that for the price it's very difficult to match the performance of theses switches. We are also using a mux demux because we only have one drop of fiber available. (Also from FS)

    The only real problem is the lack of security update i must say or alternative firmware compatibility.

    The support is near perfection also. Great response from their support and the sales teams!!
