We bought this to power our Cisco WAP-581-A-K9 Wi-Fi unit which required PoE. This unit has a slight boost in current rating (18 Watts for PoE) over the recommended Cisco unit for this particular WiFi Access Point, which gives the power supply more headroom and less heat dissipation and I assume it makes less electrical RF noise in the buck.

I bought it to power my POE PTZ security camera. It does what it is supposed to do. Small, well made and inexpensive. I will be buying a couple more of this when I order my next set of POE cameras.

As easy as plug-and-play for my Polycom VVX400 and it works great. I was getting a buzzing in my wired headset when using the regular power supply and this fixed it.

Never knew these existed until last week. I used it with this poe+ fanless switch: s3150-8t2fp. These are exactly what I needed to supply power to micro-PCs. This splitter is cheaper than many others but has a maximum output of 15.4w (suggested is <10w).
