Definitely a good recommendation for anyone needing robust PoE solutions.

The switch is awesome but it makes so much noise ! ( Delta fans are atrocious )
I replaced the fan for nuctua's and it's so much better.

From a function perspective, the switch works excellently. Routing, switching, and PoE all work as intended.

However, the noise level on this thing is intense. The two 40mm Delta fans in this bad boy easily hit their 30dB noise rating and something about the chassis makes the whole thing resonate like vacuum cleaner.

Even worse, is that the switch just runs the fans at 100% all the time.

In other words, if you don’t have a closet, rack, or somewhere hidden to put this thing, steer clear. Desktop form factor does NOT mean for desktop use.
