Top panel removes easily but attaches firmly. Fingers are solid but allow enough bend to accommodate heavy power cables.

Really is a great help controlling all the cords. I have 2 monitor, a CPU, scanner, and 2 printers and non of them wireless. I use an old dinning room table as my desk, and put this underneath. Now I barely see any cables.
