I bought this NVR to test it for use in rental properties. I have other NVRs, but none of them is this high resolution. I'm blown away by how much they've improved these things in the last couple of years. I already had an FS 1080p network cam, and I bought a bullet cam for testing too.

I have to say that I'm impressed with the product. For the price, I would say it's pretty good. When I plugged everything in, follow the instruction to detail, without any technical difficulties, it's all up and running in just a few minutes. I don't need to set the IP around, it all went automatically. I don't need to call the tech support.. surely, I will need to call them sometime if a problem arises in the future.

I bought this NVR because I wanted to be able to record all video from my cameras, not just movement. It does that job well and the apps that come with it are very easy to set up and the navigation is good as well.

I prefer to have control of the security footage in and around the house rather than storing it in the cloud. To go with the camera I have set up, the NVR helps. Setup of the device is easy. 4 screws allow you to access the internals of it, where an HDD can be mounted. Once done, connect the power, LAN, and HDMI cable, and the device is up. At startup, it will guide through the initial configs of Date/Time/Location, password setup, IPs, and other configs.

I got this NVR out of necessity and curiosity. I was recording on my PC using the NVR surveillance software. It’s great to use the software as a backup on an individual PC. This NVR is perfect for my needs. It has POE connections for up to eight cameras. Depending upon your setup you can record 4k on this NVR. It hasn’t been missed since I set it up.
