This is a great little camera for the money. It performs well in low light and gives you lots of options with the varifocal lens. I mounted one on an 8 ft. 2x4 in a bucket to test out locations around my house. The varifocal lens allows you to play around with focal lengths so you can determine which length to get for your other fixed focal length cameras. Very nicely constructed and works well with Blue Iris.

This camera almost covers the entire area that would normally require 2 other cameras. Perhaps that coverage is possible if I had the time to explore all available placement options. However, this may not always easy or feasible, especially, on high buildings.But in terms of overall performance so far, it is undoubtedly excellent.

I bought two of these, specifically, to replace two 2MP cameras that I bought a while back. The varifocal lens eliminates the guesswork of figuring out what lens size might work best for each location and gives you the ability to go well past the 6mm barrier that fixed focal cameras are stuck with.Another nice feature is that they have a built in microphone and are quite sensitive. So besides excellent video you get to hear what's going on.
