Does this module support auto-negotiation to other speeds? For example could it be used to connect a device with a 1GBe Copper interface to a switch with SFP+ ports? Or does it require that devices connected to the module support 10GBASE-T in order to function? By Henry.Vindin on 14/10/2019

This module doesn't support auto-negotiation to other speeds, it can only be used to connect two switches with 10G SFP+ ports. If you want to connect a device with a 1GBe Copper interface to a switch with SFP ports, this customized 10G-T module #66617 is recommended. By FS on 15/10/2019

Yes, this transceiver is compatible with the Intel X710 adapters, please choose "Intel" compatible brand. The speed will be at 10G across the entire 80m, because the rate of this module will not be affected by the transmission distance. By FS on 28/10/2019
