The vertical cable manager is made of really thick ABS type material so it is super strong, but the fingers can be moved in and out as you route cables through them easily. The base is a little thick and it mounts over top of your existing equipment so you might need a longer rack screw if your rack ears are thick, but I didn't on my stuff (servers and switches). I used these to route power and network cables - I attaching a picture of how it is mounted in my rack (It is on the left side)

It is indeed lightweight, the ducts are well built and durable. Worked great and priced right.

We haven’t put much emphasis on cable management until the engineer reminding. We have installed a vertical cable manager long ago but didn’t put it into good use. Just close the cover, make the cable routing look seemingly neat, though it may not. Now added some cable ties which are used to bundle each cable strands routed through the flexible fingers. That makes the changes or moves easier. Keep messy out of sight isn’t the way, keep the cable neat is.

Get a taller colleague to help install them: 45U vertical cable manager (actually 2 22.5U sections) and 1U single-sided horizontal cable manager.

Awesome vertical rack management. Buy these single side vertical cable managers for our cable rack. With 45U size, it can hold massive amounts of cables. And cables can run through the two sides easily, or go to the backside if there are devices needed to connect. Pretty nice quality, I will buy more if there is any need.

I placed the order of these single side cable managers last night, but after that, I found that the matched kits come with the managers are only for one side, which means we need 24 additional of the small metal brackets that came with double-sided wire management and are used to attach them to the data racks. But I could not find the product ID on the site. I inquired the AM if I could add some additional small metal brackets into the order, she told me the kits cannot be sold separately, but she needed some time to apply for them. Thanks for her help, the cable managers with additional kits are shipped quickly and arrive on time. All products are packaged in a sturdy way, with no damage. Very satisfied with this purchase and service, will recommend fs to friends definitely.
