OPB2-I, 1+1 Optical Protection Switch, with Built in 2 Protection Groups

D7000 series OPB2-I provides two independent 1+1 protection groups for optical signals and supports two threshold modes and two working modes. When the loss of the working fiber increases or the working fiber is blocked, the optical communication transmission system is automatically switched from the main line to the backup line in real time. The OPB2-I enhances the robustness of optical networks by offering real-time failover from a compromised main line to a pre-established backup line, ensuring uninterrupted data flow and network service continuity, which is essential for maintaining high-quality communications and safeguarding against costly downtime.


The D7000 series is a 200G/400G stackable wavelength division transmission platform featuring large transmission capacity, small size, low power consumption, and easy operation and maintenance. It provides highly scalable, reliable, and secure connectivity, and can be widely used in data center interconnections and new metropolitan area network transmissions. The D7000 supports AmpCon-T/WebGUI/CLI management, which enables service configuration and performance monitoring, alerts and optical power monitoring in real time to help you manage your network and devices more simply and conveniently.
