40KM Passive Dispersion Compensation Pluggable Module

Dispersion Compensation Module (DCM) is designed to fix the form of optical signals that are deformed by chromatic dispersion. The main constituent of DCM is DCF (Dispersion Compensation Fiber) with a negative chromatic dispersion value within the wavelength range between 1525nm and 1565nm. The module offers a high level of compensation while maintaining a low flat insertion loss as well as a low latency. When combined with M6200 series EDFA and OEO, DCM provides a simple, reliable, and cost-effective long-haul transport solution, making signals go further without regeneration.

    Always fantastic at giving solutions and provide good products. As a regular buyer, I have to praise the great quality of FS products and friendly help. I have a project with 8*100G ports and 10*10G ports for dual fiber 80km, they gave me referential diagram and suggestion quickly. Although I was not familiar with their new M6200 platform,they explain in details and answer every question patiently. Although some parts need a longer time for production and the weather causes some inconveniences, all items are delivered smoothly in the end. It's really great to work with FS team!

    I'm not experienced in DWDM solutions for long haul situations, so free tech support is good. I was wondering how to boost the signal to exceed 80km, we had a number of sites, especially the distances between two sites was 122km. The solution from FS worked out, DCM and EDFA are ideal for our long-distance transmission.
