Please note: This tool is only applicable to MTP® and MTP®-16 connectors gender exchange. Before managing the pins with the Spring Compression Tool, it is necessary to dismantle the casing with the MTP Housing Removal Tool.

Installation and Removal Steps for Gender Conversion
Spring compression tool can assemble the male pin clamp assembly and female pin spacer inside the joint to help replace the male and female connectors.
Insert the connector, and secure the spring in the slot.
Compress the spring by pushing until a "click".
Bend the ferrule to expose the male pin clamp.
Grab the male pin clamp and pull away from the ferrule.
