This Single Port PoE injector is developed with a Microsemi MP3924 main chip, which can provide a simple, economical, high-performance and intelligent way for Ethernet PoE power supply and data communication. This mid-span PoE injector has 1x2 Standard RJ45 network ports: one network port will use for upper Ethernet switches or other network devices and the other network port will support POE power supply output with network data output. They can supply power to HD webcam through Cat5 Ethernet cable, in order that make it more flexible for the places difficult to connect to power supply, and provide more efficient solutions.

We bought this to power our Cisco WAP-581-A-K9 Wi-Fi unit which required PoE. This unit has a slight boost in current rating (18 Watts for PoE) over the recommended Cisco unit for this particular WiFi Access Point, which gives the power supply more headroom and less heat dissipation and I assume it makes less electrical RF noise in the buck.

I bought it to power my POE PTZ security camera. It does what it is supposed to do. Small, well made and inexpensive. I will be buying a couple more of this when I order my next set of POE cameras.

As easy as plug-and-play for my Polycom VVX400 and it works great. I was getting a buzzing in my wired headset when using the regular power supply and this fixed it.
