Warranty Information for our services.

Warranty Backed By FS.COM

FS.COM warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship for all products sold and manufactured by FS. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper deployment, misuse, accidents, neglect or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products should be returned to us for evaluation. Items with defects in materials and workmanship will be repaired or refunded.

At FS.COM, we offer lifetime warranty and limited warranty for different products varying on the materials, workmanship, usage rate and the availability of the spare parts for each product.

Warranty Period

Lifetime Warranty

A Lifetime Warranty means that products under this cover will have a warranty for the practical life of the product. For example, the practical life of transceivers is about 5 years in normal applications, therefore the lifetime warranty for this device would be 5 years.

A Limited Warranty means that products have warranty periods that are less than their practical life as they are consumable products.

What Our Warranty Policy Will Do

We offer you 100% satisfaction guarantee promise. The Warranty Department will inspect the product without extra charge. After checking, if any products or accessory defect is inspected and confirmed to be covered by this policy, we will either repair, exchange or refund in accordance with the RMA service type you request.

For FS.COM standard stock products (consumables and Fibre optic cable excluded), within their warranty period, we can offer replacement and free maintenance services if it's quality problem.
For Fibre Optic Tranceivers, if there are any quality problems after one year and the item is within the warranty period, we offer free maintenance. However you will be resposible for shipping and custom charge.
There is no warranty period and maintenance services for consumables, such as Fibre Patch Cables, Ultra High Density Cables, Fibre Pigtails, Ruggedized Fibre Cables, Pre-terminated MultiFibre Cable, Bulk Fibre Cables, and Fibre Cable Assemblies.
If the products' warranty period expires, FS can still maintain it for you. However, we will charge case-by-case and you need to pay for the delivery cost and customs.

Limitations

The Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for FS.COM. These products can be identified by the "FS" trade name/ logo on the product.
Limited Warranty does not apply if there is:

  • Damage due to acts of nature, for example, lightning strikes, flood, tornadoes, earthquake, and the like;
  • Negligence, misuse or abuse;
  • Modifications to any part of the Product;
  • Damage caused by accident, fire, or other external causes;
  • Damage caused by operating the Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by FS.COM or with improper voltage or power supply.

No FS.COM reseller, agent or employee is authorised to make any modification to the warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforcement of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
