The 100G SR4 optical transceivers are used for the 100G DWDM solution established by FS technicians two months ago in our plant. Only 4 channels were put into service and the rest reserved for future expansion. All went well. Moreover, the subsequent expansion is easy to figure out by ourselves. Brought home the right amount of coherent modules and 100G SR4 optics as the technicians instructed. Things now go smoothly as they did at the very beginning. Very good service and quality.

Want to find transceiver modules for Juniper MX960 and QFX5200. They recommended this 100G-QSFP28 and customized to make it work. Good value as before and haven’t charged me an arm and a leg. Never let me down.

As for high speed networking I usually want to use something with fancy name-brand but FS has really surprised me with their quality. The transceiver is sturdy looking, easy to plug in, remove and seats in the QSFP28 slot firmly. I am using 2 of the 100g sr transceivers on my Edgecore switch, with each breakouting into 4 25g to connect the Mellanox NICs. Works like a charm without any problem so far. These qsfp28 modules are really one of the most important parts in my network as the uplinks from the Mellanox NICs are all connected to them.I have used a bunch of their QSFP+ in an old 40G dell unit and they have had no issues for over a year: no dropped connection, no spotty performance. Can’t tell the difference between these and original modules based on using experience. The reality is that you could spend a ton of money on a name-brand version of these optics, but there’s really no need. So I would just stick with them and use them in production with no doubts.
I’m confident they’ll stay working for years. It won’t break my bank even i buy a handful on hand just in case.

The only thing to be aware of is the compatibility as it is a customized item. Could look up the working/non-working module support thread for your device or ask the team what will work with your equipment before ordering. I bet you will get fast response. Would definitely recommend the company with confidence.

Have tried some FS optics and all of them worked well. Our previous suppliers could not provide full range of transceiver modules. Purchasing separately feels troublesome. Major needs are 40/100G optics. The QSFP28 100G SR4 deflects our attention to FS and it is their full product portfolio, excellent service and quality that make us decide to settle with them. Different laser types and packaging techniques are all needed. It’s worthwhile to get an FS box to do troubleshoot and tune wavelength for us and wholesale buyers. Reprogramming is not unusual and can be done quicker than have it done by others. Version 2 of FS coding box has more functions than the first generation, now is a necessity to take to shuttle in the data centers for our engineers. We are very optimistic about FS.

Double checked before adding to my cart that they meet the associated industry standard specifications. The interoperation with my Cisco 100G transceivers again proves its capability. Fast shipping from Delaware warehouse. Love them.

Got a batch of 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 transceivers without coding this time, the FS box V1 we applied last year is still in use. Code the optics standby with FS box accordingly, we really appreciate the flexibility as an ISP in particular. FS is the first choice that we consider when purchasing network devices. It is cost-effective and delivers faster than any other suppliers that we have dealt with. This is paramount for us as we need to provide full set of solutions for our clients, anything absent is untolerable. Their quick response contributes to our high efficiency. Fiber cables, optics, DACs, everything works great so far. I personally have introduced many around us to buy parts from FS, so much so that all suspect me as a salesperson from FS. In fact I may truly have the talent to do that, lol.

These modules came nicely packaged and worked right out of the box, just plug and play. I'm using them successfully in my Juniper MX 204 switch, and trunk the switch and a dell switch with no issues whatsoever. Don't seem to get hot or anything like that. Using these on my units is just like I did some Juniper modules. Worked flawlessly as we would expect, no packet errors or interface issues. Made a nice difference to my network. I would buy again in an instant.
