The switch has mentioned its MTBF, which is why I chose FS switches, because this actually demonstrates its reliability from a specific standpoint.

We wanted to realize high-capacity transmission between two sites at a distance of 35-40km. And we had two S8050-20Q4C switches in MLAG configuration but with 40G ports available only. Haven't ordered any other devices for our FTTH plan yet, I turned to FS for some technical support. In order to realize our 40G DWDM transmission, 40G SR4 optical transceivers with MTP harness cables, 10G SR & 10G DWDM modules, OEO equipment, 16CH DWDM MUX are all adopted and designed to be placed at two sites separately to achieve 1CHx10G transmission. The tech guys even took our future upgrade and expansion into consideration. The diagram they offered expressed clearly and the product list attached was really useful for our selection. I was a little bit worried about the interoperability between FS switches and my Cisco and Arista devices at the very beginning. It turned out that they cooperated with each other perfectly. No complaints whatsoever. Plus, I will definitely add FS into our trust list.

Get some S8050-20Q4C switches for MPLS backbone. They support MPLS L2 and L3 VPNs. No worries.

Our rack is fully loaded with FS network switches and other kits, except a Cisco router. Six S3900-48T4S switches are stacked together. The rightmost two sfp+ ports are used for the stack and the rest two connect the S8050-20Q4C via 40G to 4*10G DAC, establishing an LACP group in which 10 ports up and 2 ports standby. That’s incredibly great regarding both the individual products and the whole program.
