These kits work well enough, but it the glass is significantly more fragile than what you get in a Commscope cable, as an example. I did a few hundred splices over the last few days; none of my Commscope glass shattered, but these did several times. I’m not sure if Corning glass is used, or something else, but it was substantially more common that it would shatter when cleaved.

My normal vendor for these was out of stock. Imagine my surprise when I found these for much cheaper than my normal vendor. This looks like it may be a start to more business.

Their color-coded fiber optic pigtail was amazing. It looked good and worked even better. Very standard one and was easy to install.
