AmpCon-T License Portal 1.1 License Generation Workflow The overall license generation workflow consists of three stages: ① During management system installation, the server hardware information is collected and an encrypted file is generated as the unique identifier bound to the server. ② The license is then generated on the License Portal. ③ After obtaining the license key, it can be activated on the management system. Each management system instance can only be bound to one server. Note The AmpCon-T encrypted file is in .lic format. For the same License Type, if the server identifier has already been used, a new license cannot be created again. This prevents accidental consumption of license inventory. ① Navigate to the Portal website. ② Click “License Portal” to enter the login page. image.png ③ Contact your sales representative for the username and password. image.png ④ After logging in, select “AmpCon Licenses.” image.png ⑤ Click “New AmpCon License.” image.png Then configure the following: Set Software Type to “AmpCon-T.” Set Feature Type to “Foundation.” If creating a trial license: Set License Type to “Trial License.” If creating a purchased/standard license: Set License Type to “Standard License.” License Name is optional. image.png Upload the previously generated Hardware File. img_v3_02sl_e4cb828e-3202-498c-9893-da30b5fb6fbg.jpg Then select the Expiration Date. image.png ⑥ Click “Add AmpCon License” to complete the creation. [License Query] ① Log in to the License Portal, go to the AmpCon Licenses menu, and view all generated license entries. ② You can filter licenses by Software Type, Software Version, Device Type, Feature Type, License Type, and Expiration Date. ③ Click the Copy button next to the License Key to copy it, or click Download to export the key as a .lic file. ④ The Total Items field indicates the number of devices included in a license. Click the value to view detailed information. Note AmpCon-T: Each management platform instance can be installed on one server only (fixed quantity = 1). You can view the uploaded hardware file and the license expiration date in this interface. image.png 2. AmpCon-T License Installation on First Login 2.1 Trial License Installation Step1: Enter the IP address of AmpCon-T in the browser. AmpCon-T License Installation Management Page 3.1 Software License Page Logic Usage Scenarios 1. Import of AmpCon-T License & Local Identification Code Acquisition & License Information Query Preparation 1. Confirm the basic information of the AmpCon-T License to be imported, including Software type, Feature type and License type. 2. Obtain the local identification code corresponding to the installation server. 3. Confirm the available amount and Expire Date of each type of License under the current company account. NOTE: In the online environment, you can log in to the License Portal account and go to the page to confirm the available amount and Expire Date of each type of Ampcon license. (The total balance of unused ampcon licenses will also be displayed at the top of the page.) 3.1.1 Local Identification Code Acquisition Usage Scenarios Obtain local identification code for generating license. Operating Steps Step1: Click Obtian to get the local identification code. image.png Step2: Click Export Local Identification Code. image.png 3.1.2 License Installation Usage Scenarios Activate and use AmpCon-T by importing the license. Operating Steps Step1: Click Import to Install License. < Method1: Click Copy License.txt to install License > image.png < Method2: Click Add License.lic to install License > image.png image.png NOTE: 1. If the AmpCon-T is activated with a commercial license, a trial license cannot be imported. 2. If the imported trial license has expired, the import will fail; a trial license that has been used for more than 90 days but less than 104 days will trigger a warning in the license log. 3. Within the validity period of the trial license, license key with the same license ID can be imported repeatedly, while different one cannot be imported. 4.
