It offers comprehensive Layer 2/3 capabilities, including MLAG, MPLS & VXLAN-BGP-EVPN, and PTP, along with MACsec for point-to-point link encryption to ensure scalable performance and robust security for modern networks.
The S5800-48F4SR is equipped with hot-swappable, redundant power supplies and smart fans for enhanced resiliency. It supports simple device management and network management via a Command-Line Interface (CLI) as well as an on-box web UI, and it is ideal for high-density all-optical access and aggregation deployments across service providers, ISPs, enterprise campuses, and data centres.
