FS.COM Multiplex Managed Chassis can support up to 16x DWDM Mux Demux card, EDFA fiber amplifier card, WDM transponder card and optical protection card.The Chassis, available with an Optical Supervisory Channel (OSC), is a platform of low-power consumption that combines state-of-art electronics and superior optical performance.
FMT Series provides cost-effective and flexible WDM solutions. It has a variety of optical layer boards and provides excellent optical performance, and can be applied to DWDM dual-fiber/DWDM single-fiber/optical cable monitoring systems, to meet the diverse needs of scenarios.


Note: The chassis comes with NMU main control card, cooling fan and power supply. And only one NMU main control card is supported in a FMT chassis.

I'm happy to get such a functional item with a very affordable prices here. Its 2U deisgn with 8 card slot can totally fullfill my demands today, and even for future-proof upgrade. Now, I used it to hold several OEO cards. But my sale rep told me that I could also use it for other cards such as EDFA, OLP, multiplexer, etc. because it is equipped with Ethernet, RS-485, RS-232 interface. Really a good product for me.
