FS card variable optical attenuator is an online attenuation amount adjustment device, which adopts MEMS technology and could continually and variably attenuate the light intensity in the optical fibre transmission and could help simulate distance or actual attenuation in the fibre optic testing work by inserting a calibrated attenuation into the link. It is designed for maximum configuration flexibility, with pluggable modules that plug directly into the FMT managed chassis, each module occupying one slot.
This module can facilitate an integrated cost-effective and flexible optical layer solution by incorporating a variety of optical layer boards, such as EDFA/OEO/DCM/MUX/OLP/R/B, and can be applied to DWDM dual-fibre/DWDM single-fibre/optical cable monitoring systems to achieve strict control of optical power to meet the diverse needs of scenarios.
