In hindsight I should have gone for the 'Generic' variant and fill in the 'Device Number' field. I did both at some point, but then press 'Add to cart' on a different tab I guess...
Nancy confirmed there would be no compatibility problems in advance with my Unifi Dream Machine - Special Edition (Ubiquiti UDM-SE), and had to deal with me not noticing certain questions the first time around... Thanks Nancy!
Leaving some breadcrumbs for others in my situation:
My ISP is Freedom Internet via KPN NetwerkNL. (WBA: KPN Wholesale)
For ipv6 to work the mtu on the ppp0 interface of the UDM-SE must be 1500, not 1492. You can not configure this via any GUI, be prepared to ssh into it and do it yourself: https://community.ui.com/questions/Feature-Request-UDM-Pro-PPPoE-RFC4638-1500-MTU-MRU-for-PPP/b5c1fcf6-bee5-4fc7-ae00-c8ce2bf2e724#answer/e1c5e332-97e9-4504-9987-945ec28a57a4
