Fluke Networks MFPOWERMETER MultiFiber™ Pro Handheld Optical Power Meter

The MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter is the first fibre tester to certify MPO fibre trunks without fan-out cords. This single-mode and multimode MPO fibre tester, used with a light source, eliminates the complexity of polarity issues and makes cassettes easier to test in the field.
Data centres are standardising on an MPO connector solution, whether using 10 Gbps pre-terminated MPO fibre trunks or planning for next-generation 40/100 Gbps Ethernet performance. Typical data centre fibre installation is time-consuming and manual, and MPO validation is imprecise. MultiFiber Pro Optical Power Meter and Light Source is 90 percent faster than single fibre cable certification because it measures power loss and validates polarity on 12 fibres in a single connector, reducing test time from weeks to days.
