The S5850-48S6Q-R is a Layer 3 switch featuring 48 10GbE SFP+ ports and 6 40GbE QSFP+ uplinks in a compact 1U form factor, delivering high performance for campus core and aggregation. It provides up to 1.44 Tbps switching capacity and 1071 Mpps forwarding rate.
This switch provides high availability with MLAG and redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans, ensuring resilient operation. It also supports advanced Layer 2/3 features including BGP, OSPF and VRF, with MPLS for scalable networks. It is ideal for high-bandwidth aggregation for enterprise campus distribution and Top-of-Rack (ToR) connectivity in data centres, with 10GbE server access and 40GbE spine uplinks.
