This controller is a must-have if you plan to use more than five of FS access points. While the AP's will operate in standalone mode without this controller, the controller turns them all into a network system that you can customize any way you want. The controller will take over individual control of each AP so they can all be managed from one place. I can tell you that the internet experience is 100% better with this controller.

Setup was somewhat easy, moreso than I expected. The controller adopted my AP and switch quickly. Once they were all connected, getting access to each of their settings, my network load, access management, and overall topology was a breeze. I highly recommend this as it has basically the same features for a fraction of the cost.
