DWDM Red/Blue C-band Filter is a high-performance passive micro-optics device that leverages environmentally stable thin-film filter (TFF) technology to deliver exceptional wavelength management. FS R/B has three ports. One port is called the ”Common” port. The other two ports provide the conduit for the two wavelength bands. The two bands are the Blue band (1529.35 - 1541.55nm) and the Red band (1548.31 – 1560.81nm). One band goes thru the Reflect band leg, and the other band which requires the highest isolation goes thru the Pass band leg. It is characterised with wide passband, low insertion loss, high return loss, excellent environmental stability and high power handling capability. Designed for maximum configuration flexibility, this module can plug directly into the FMT managed chassis, each module occupying one slot.
The module is designed for amplifying the Bi-directional signals in a single fibre DWDM system and high power amplification system. The DWDM Red/Blue C-band Filter offers versatile deployment options, functioning as both a high-efficiency band combiner and band splitter to meet diverse network requirements. As a combiner, the device intelligently merges the Blue and Red bands through the Common port, while as a splitter, it precisely separates composite signals from the Common port into their respective wavelength channels In addition, it can facilitate an integrated cost-effective and flexible optical layer solution by incorporating a variety of optical layer boards, such as MUX/OEO/EDFA/DCM/OLP. And it supports 1+1 protection of the main control board, visual management, and realises seamless deployment safely and efficiently, which can be used in DWDM single-fibre solution, education, retail, entertainment and other industries to solve the problems of high O&M costs and difficult deployment.
