Answer this Question

Our condition is that we have a camera with a 12G SFP+ single-mode transmitter that connects to a fiber-to-12G-SDI receiver with a single-mode SFP+, and the vendor that provided the fiberoptic cable mistakenly sent us OM2 multi-mode cable rather than the single-mode fiber we ordered. If we were to put a Mode Conditioning patch cable at the camera, would we also need one at the receiver?

The mode conditioning patch cable needs to work in pairs. So, yes, you also need one at the receiver. by E***e on 21/05/2021
