Maybe your fiber optic laying needs to go outside. Both 29584 and 70220 can be used in conduit outdor. But the latter can address cable concerns for direct burial applications. Please note that the above two optical fiber do not support overhead cable routing, if you have such needs, and the distance is more than 1km, it is recommended to use single-mode fiber optic cable. by FS.com on 04/12/2021
