Q:

I saw this NVR support ONVIF protocol, what does that mean?

by M***y on 09/17/2021

A:

ONVIF (the Open Network Video Interface Forum) creates a standard for how IP products within video surveillance and other physical security areas can communicate with each other. All of FS NVRs and network cameras support ONVIF protocol, which means they are compatible with each other, and also compatible with devices from other brands supporting ONVIF, such as Hikvision, Dahua, D-link and so on.

Q:

Do I need to purchase a POE injector separately to use this NVR?

by N***n on 11/10/2021

A:

This NVR does not support POE power supply. If you need it, you can choose NVR204-32C-16P. They have the same number of channels and come with POE power supply, so you don’t need to purchase a POE injector separately.
