The MC-16DP 16-slot Rackmount chassis is specially designed to accommodate MMC-1SC1T-MM-SIM, MMC-1SC1T-SM-20-SIM, MMC-1F1T-SIM and MMC-1S1XMG-SIM Media Converters for central power supply, saving space and power cables. This 2U rack-mountable converter chassis is ideal for high-density fibre optic network applications. The chassis allows multiple converters to be organised in an equipment rack, saving space and keeping cabling neat alongside network devices.
It is configurable via console, Web, and SNMP, supporting NTP clock synchronisation and remote and local system logging. Additionally, the removable power module enhances flexibility, making this device ideal for scalable, streamlined network management.
Note: The power type of this device is AC by default.

Redundant AC Power Supply and 2 Fans
The chassis features two power slots, supporting redundant power configuration to ensure non-stop reliable operation. Two cooling fans are installed internally to stabilise the performance and extend the lifetime.
Hot-Swappable for Easy Replacement of Converter
Media converter modules are individually secured and hot-swappable, which allows installing/removing the converter without powering off the chassis.
