I used this product for a short-range 10 meter 10G link but it worked flawlessly out of the box. I didn't even have to reprogram it; the Cisco version worked fine even though I am using Intel/Mikrotik. Very useful to keep in handy because ISPs like Lumen like to hand off 10G links over single mode fiber. It also accepted my SC to LC adapter cable.
