2025-09-25 - S3240 Series Switches Data Sheet Product overview FS S3240 series switches are high-performance Layer 2+ Ethernet switches designed for IP MAN (metropolitan area network), government, and enterprise networks. They support essential features such as ACL, QinQ, VLAN switching, Ethernet OAM, carrier-grade QoS, and Layer 3 routing protocols. With simple management and flexible installation, the S3240 series provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for complex network deployments. The S3240-8T 8-Port Ethernet L2+ Switch is equipped with 8x 10/100/1000M RJ45 ports, and 4x 10Gb SFP+ Uplinks. This switch delivers 96 Gbps switching capacity and 72 Mpps forwarding rate. Fanless design ensures noise-free switch operation, reduced cost, and power consumption, and is ideal for use in quiet, small workspaces. Based on the high-performance hardware, it supports functions such as Stacking, OSPF, Voice VLAN, and QoS, and supports simple device management and network management via a Command-Line Interface (CLI) as well as an on-box web UI. The S3240-8P is a L2+ managed switch, equipped with 8x 1Gb RJ45 and 4x 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports support both IEEE 802.3at PoE+ (up to 30W per port) for powering attached Wi-Fi 6 access points, IP cameras or other network devices. Fanless design ensures noise-free switch operation, reduced cost, and power consumption, and is ideal for use in quiet, small work spaces. Based on the high-performance hardware, it supports functions such as Stacking, OSPF, Voice VLAN, and QoS, and supports simple device management and network management via a Command-Line Interface (CLI) as well as an on-box web UI.
