We wired the switch in our new office with CAT5e on every floor. Fast streaming was delivered to our 9 IP phones and 13 IP cameras through the product. Had no issues with this item.

The purchase process was incredibly easy and fast and the price is great. In addition to the detailed information provided in the website, my account manager was very courteous and kept me informed and replied quickly to my emails. I can\'t review the product because I didn\'t use it yet. I am recommending FS to my colleagues.

My account manager has been extremely courteous and considerate when answering my questions and providing me solutions. We needed access switches with 48 copper gigabit ports, and it would be better at least 24 ports with PoE+. Then they can be connected to the core/distribution switch via SFP/SFP+ optical ports. Also, we wanted to connect our servers to the core switch through 12 SFP+ ports. We firstly inquired about the 48 ports PoE+ switch of 500w. But after they checked the power consumption of our PoE devices and the fact that we did not need stacking at all, they recommended us these 24 ports switches and a core switch S5800-8TF12S with 12 SFP+ ports and some copper/fiber gigabit ports. Their recommendations fit our needs perfectly. So we certainly ordered these products without any hesitation.

I use it as an access switch. This switch is smart enough to connect both PoE, PoE+ or ordinary wired devices. I do not need to do extra setup when I connect mixed devices to it.

Bought this for domestic usage. My network is built on several IP cameras, one AP, a file-server and two desktop PCs.I want to use VLANs to segment my network because my router can not bear all the traffic to go through it at the same time. Much appreciate that the new product makes it happen.And my cameras have worked without any hassles. There has been no degradation of picture quality. In addition, I can set a limited bandwidth per port, which is very useful when my network is congested. Port mirroring is another valuable feature for me. When diagnosing a network issue or checking a possible attack, it will play a crucial role.

Before buying, I found that FS was in the US, and concerned whether the patch cord could be used in Germany. The sales told me that they also had a warehouse in Munich, and they would equip accessories based on different countries’ standards. So I got my item from the local warehouse, very fast.

Received the 24-port PoE switch on time and well packed from FS. It comes with rack 'ears', the screws for the ears, a power cord and so on.

I bought this because I have a home network that includes several IP security cameras and planned to design a large home digital video collection (home videos, TV show, TiVo system). The network was originally built with two 8-port PoE switches. Now, my system has grown larger, and the ports are not enough. So I need a new one with more ports.

Before I made the final decision, I had considered the Cisco SG250-26HP switch. But its power consumption is only 100W. And it only has 2 SFP combo ports. Considering future growth, I chose the FS switch. This is a compact switch. It has four SFP ports. It supports Gigabit Ethernet and the latest PoE+ protocol. I have installed the new PoE switch in my network. The following features make me impressed:

Successfully deployed with my VoIP system and security cameras. From a PoE perspective, I have no issues in mixing my IP cameras and other non-PoE devices. Now I can manage my devices from a single point.

The CLI is similar to Cisco’s. So it’s easier for me to get familiar with the configuration. I also found that the Web interface is simple, functional and stable. The first log in is easy. At first, just power up and let it boot. Then plug in the PC on the same subnet. The switch will have a default IP. Then type in “admin” and “password” as the user. Finally, configure IP and save. And now I can make any other changes to the switch.

Some advanced functions, like VLAN, loop protection, traffic monitoring and SNMP, especially the GVRP, made me a surprise. It’s a protocol like Cisco VTP, a powerful feature for VLAN management. Maybe my small network does not need this feature, but it's nice to know it's there. It's a truly cost-effective product.

It’s good but not perfect. I don’t like the switch’s ventilation holes, since I think it may be more susceptible to dust and humidity，but the hole design can not be avoided for fans. And the switch can adjust the fan speed automatically, smart design.

At last, I would say it’s really a good product. If I had three hands I'd give it 3 thumbs up, not only for the good quality, but also for the attentive service. Before I made the decision, I had a lot of talking with the sales, she asked my network demands and then recommended this switch. Really a nice shopping experience.

Initial 5-star since it does what it claims to do. I am using this to power two IP-POE cameras, and I will add more when need occurs This switch provides power to all ports. I'm getting what expected to pay for. It saves me lots of money since I don't have to install extra power outlets and extend cable length to deploy my IP cameras. Worth to buy!

Switch was well packed and arrived with all the parts I needed to put it into service. Configured it and installed it on the network and it is running great.
