I bought this product to replace my old device. What I want is a wifi 6 device that supports poe and can be installed on the wall. It meets all my requirements, so I placed an order and decided to give it a try .

I powered it through PoE and completed the configuration easily. I set the SSID and password to be the same as my current wireless network. If the signal is stronger, the phone will switch to this access point.

In terms of a home, small business or even medium business setup, FS is a no brainer. Their equipment just works, it works well and gives you plenty of options to do your configurations however you want, their equipment works together extremely well with excellent logging / information to help you hone your setup if you know what the options do. They provide excellent documentation on their site to help you delve further in on their products and they come out with new offerings at a blistering pace. I've deployed several these and am never disappointed, I use them in my own house and my own mother's house.

This access point solved all my problems with my current living accommodations. The device was a bit complicated to set up at first, as I didn't understand quick setup guide. The accessibility for the access point from the individual IP address makes it very easy to manage what devices are connected, change the band frequencies, and do all sorts of changes with ease. I have no doubt I'll be recommending this access point to anyone needing it.

I've deployed a lot of the AP-W6T6817C units in a number of clients. These unit are solid performers with excellent management features. I've deployed them with FS switches and routers and have not had a single issue.

Installing the unit in our 2,000 sq ft home was a breeze. Installed the main unit in basement and placed two units on the first floor. Strong signal throughout home, on porches. We subscribe to 150 Mbps and we are getting all of that and more. Once placing the unit throughout the house I used the same network name and password. Everything connected immediately, except for my outside grill. I should say that I do have a "smart" home. All phones, iPads, computers and printers worked great. Highly recommend as is inexpensive for such a great system.

This is awesome. I had bad internet in my house. The router was on one corner of my home and the master bedroom was way on the other side of the house. But I had trouble getting a signal from the bed.Then I bought this AP, I gave it a try and it was perfect. I have at least 15 to 20 WiFi connections. Including smart tv, rocku, web cam, security cam, indoor and outdoor WiFi cameras, echo show, laptops, tablets, Nintendo switch, etc. I do not have buffering from my tv anymore, my outside cameras have no more connection issues. Easy to setup. I had all three set up within less than 15 minutes. Took me another 2 hours to reconnect all of my other devices to the new network.

Solved all our wifi issues.. extremely easy to set up! Zero problems at all and was able to remove my router as this is pretty feature packed enough. Vlan and port forwarding etc for example. Went with full wired backbone though tested one using wifi and it was great as well..

Absolutely amazing performance! The range/coverage of this WAP is insane and the SN/R is also amazing. It\'s more than worth the price. The support I\'ve received from FS has been great too. They take customer feedback very seriously and listen. I would recommend this to others looking for commercial grade equipment.

From my testing with an iPhone and a laptop, this seems like a good quality device. Setup is easy, and there's lots of configurable options such as time schedules, guest portal access, etc. I setup the device in my basement and I was able to go all the way up to my 2nd floor and the signal did not weaken much. The POE option will be useful for when I do that. I may get a 2nd one and put it upstairs to help extend the range so I have a stronger signal throughout the house. The dual band capability is nice so that the older devices I have can also connect to it. I'm unable to test the handoff feature since I only have one device right now. So far I'm happy with this unit.
