I have seen on your website that you are selling 25G DWDM optics, but they are rated for 10 km. We have a possible application for them in one of our DWDM networks in Denmark. We have 2 DCs there, and they are connected by fibers between 10 and 20 kms (and a lot of connectors unfortunately). The fiber is fully amplified with RoADMs on both sites. It currently does DCUs, but we could place some to fully compensate any chromatic dispersion on those spans. Would those 25G DWDM optics (rated for only 10 km) work in such an environment (with or without DCUs)? Do they support FEC ?

Hello, our 25G DWDM module has higher requirements for link transmission. It can't work properly in the link without a dispersion compensation module. Due to the strict requirement of dispersion, it is usually used with TDCM 72427 to compensate the dispersion strictly according to the link distance. In addition, for the high requirements of fiber optic links, you need to provide a link OTDR test report to determine whether the link meets the requirements. At last, this module does not support FEC.

Ye, it works. The DWDM module is originally designed for MUX applications.
