What's the difference between the SFP-25GSR-85 and SFP-25GLR-31 modules?

Thanks for your question! The SFP-25GSR-85 is a short-distance MMF module for up to 100m and works with OM3/OM4 multimode fiber, while the SFP-25GLR-31 is a long-distance SMF module that supports up to 10km and requires single-mode fiber. You can choose what you need.

Can this module support 10G?

FS told me that it can support 10G, but you need to use the FS BOX #96657 to configure it to 10G code and re-code it when you need to it to back up to 25G. But if you need dual-rate modules as me, better consider this one 10G and 25G dual-rate transceivers.

Based on your devices, it is ideal to use : 1.100G SR4 48858+MTP harness jumpers68047 +25G SR67991; 2:100G QSFP28 to 4x25G SFP28 DAC49617 with Extreme for the 100G side and Cisco for the 25G side; 3.100G QSFP28 to 4x25G SFP28 AOC70537 with Extrem for the 100G side and Cisco for the 25G side.
