This is not the right place to ask that; you need a network engineer. While a specification may say 40Km it is rarely if ever used to the max length without a repeater unless you are talking about some really high end gear that goes under seas, which this is not going to be used on. I would only answer this question after doing a site survey and seeing all the other equipment involved, including cable quality etc: any other answers are really guesses.
