The interface of MTP and MPO is the same, but the internal spring structure is different; MPO is a circle, and MTP is an ellipse. The elliptical guide pin improves the accuracy of the mating and reduces wear on the guide hole, allowing the MTP fiber optic connector to maintain high-performance transmission for longer. So MTP is superior to MPO and can completely replace MPO.

①Inserting a 100G CVR conversion module into the 100G QSFP28 port allows for transforming the port from QSFP28 packaging to SFP28 packaging. Then, an internal 25G module can be used in conjunction with fiber patch cables to connect to the opposing 25G SFP28 port's 25G module. ②By inserting a 100G SR4 module into the 100G QSFP28 port, the port can be split, and an MTP®-LC harness jumper cable's branch end can be used to connect to the 25G SR module in the 25G SFP28 port.

Typically, the insertion loss is not as low as 1dB; it is generally less than or equal to 0.35dB. Additionally, the current working temperature range that can achieve is -10°C to 70°C. You may want to consider industrial armored cables, which can operate within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.

Yes, this breakout cable can be used with a 40G SR4 module to divide the 40G SR4 module into 4×10G transmission, or it can be used with a 100G SR4 module to divide the 100G SR4 module into 4×25G transmission.
