SDI optical module does not convert video signals to IP signals, but maintains the baseband format of SDI, just change the transmission medium.

Thanks for inquiring on FS.COM.The optic #62350 can work for multimode fiber and singlemode .The 1310nm wavelength is tipically used by singlemode . Multimode is tipically with 850nm,but 1310nm wavelength also include Multimode .

Yes. It can be used in an Ethernet environment, requiring an encoder to encode it into an Ethernet format and a decoder to decode it at the receiving end.
