It looks like this works with the Cisco Nexus line of switches. However is this module compatible with the Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series switches? I have two C9500-32C's I would like to plug 8 of these into to talk to 10G connected catalyst 3850 access switches.

What is the difference between the LC with the yellow sleeves and the white sleeves?

Actually the color is for distinguishing the straight-through type (A-B) and the staggered type (A-A). One yellow and one white wire means the straight-through type. Whether it is a straight-through type or a staggered type, as long as the TX end can reach the RX end.
