PAM4 is a PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) modulation technique that uses 4 different signal levels for signaling. Each symbol cycle can represent 2 bits of logical information (0, 1, 2, 3), which means four levels in one time unit. Therefore, at the same baud rate, PAM4 spits twice as much as NRZ, with higher transmission efficiency, better anti-jamming capability and lower BER.

Besides the price advantage we have compared to branded transceivers, FS.COM compatible transceivers also maintain the same performance and reliability. To satisfy our customers' needs of high performance, all of our transceivers are tested multiple times in mainstream original brand switches in our test center before shipped out.
