Yes, square receipts are available. You can custom-select label size as long as the width of the label ranges from 0.98" to 4.33".

Yes, you can use any type of thermal printer label. The width of the printing paper is adjustable. The printer has a little adjuster deal on the spot the labels go in. The widest it goes is 4.33".
