What is the difference between #11557 and #15382? They are both 10G 1550nm 40km DOM Duplex LC SMF Transceivers. One is for "CWDM" but that shouldn't matter if the frequency is the same.

Hello, The main difference between the two is the use of different lasers. #11557 is mainly used for direct connection of Ethernet devices, while #15382 is mainly used for connecting optical transmission devices such as CWDM multiplexers/demultiplexers.

We would like to consistently use the following modules: 10G CWDM SFP+ 40m DOM LC SMF. Is it a problem if only a 20m lease cable is used between the transmitter and receiver? Or do I need higher attenuation?

Hello, it is recommended to add about 10dB of fixed optical attenuation so that the received optical power is -7 ~ -13dBm.

Hello, I'm considering to purchase your Cisco CWDM-SFP10G-XXXX (FS P/N: CWDM-SFP10G-40L) to install in a Cisco switch C9500C. Looking at your Compatibility Test Bed document I can only find the Cisco switch C9500-24Y4C, which is the same model but with 24 ports. Because I need to be 100% sure about the correct interoperability of the SFPs and soing forward with the purchase, could you please confirm the compatibility of the mentioned CWDM-SPF10G with the Cisco C9500-48Y4C?
