Both modules are 8x50Gb/s modulated and can be interconnected using multimode MPO/MTP 16 APC patch cords.

A:

Direct cables can achieve 400G transmission by using the same module at both ends; Breakout cables can achieve 400G to two 200G connections by utilizing two 200G QSFP56 SR4 optical modules at one end and MPO/MTP-16 to 2xMPO/MTP-8 multimode patch cables at the other end.

Yes, I bought the whole products for 400G-200G solutions from FS recently. They work well in our data center so far. You can check the connectivity solutions on the #165879 custom MTP-16 to 2x8 fiber MTP cable.
